Concerned about how many junk food ads your family is exposed to?
The Cancer Council NSW has come up with a way to cut down the number of junk food ads you and your kids watch. Go to www.fatfreetv.com.au and you can check out a show’s ‘junk rating’. This rating ranges from 0 (‘fat-free TV’) to 5 (‘junk overload’). The score is based on how much advertising for junk food is screened during an average episode. It includes a range of programs, time-slots and channels.
