Full ingredients list:
- 1kg potatoes (sebago, desiree or golden delight)
- 3 tablespoons reduced-fat table spread
- 1/2 cup skim milk, heated
- freshly ground black pepper

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Peel potatoes and cut into 3cm pieces. Place into a saucepan and cover with just enough cold water to cover potatoes. Bring to the boil then reduce heat to medium. Cook for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Step 2 Drain potatoes well. Add table spread, milk and seasonings. Mash well, adding some extra milk if you prefer a creamier mash. Serve hot.
If you want to add extra a flavour to your mash, add 6 peeled cloves of garlic along with your potatoes in step 1. Easy garlicky mash!
