Nutritional information (per serve)
Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C. Make pizza base: Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Stir in yeast. Add warm water. Mix into a soft dough using wooden spoon. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth, not sticky. Use more flour if needed. Place dough in a lightly greased mixing bowl. Cover with cling film. Leave on the bench at room temperature until double in size; about 30 minutes.
Step 2 Prepare topping: Grate cheese. Thinly slice onion. Dice capsicum and ham. Lightly grease a pizza pan with olive oil spray.
Step 3 Once dough has doubled in size, knead for a few minutes on a floured surface, then roll into a 24cm round. Transfer to prepared pan and spread base with pizza sauce. Add cheese, onion, capsicum and ham.
Step 4 Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes or until base looks crisp and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with pepper and parsley to serve.
Use tomato sauce with basil if you can’t find pizza sauce.
If you don’t like ham, try cooked, diced chicken instead.
