Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Preheat oven to 180ºC. Line a 20cm round cake tin with baking paper.
Step 2 Place sugar and spread into a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat to combine. Fold in flour and cocoa powder.
Step 3 Stir in bananas, yoghurt and chocolate bits. Spoon into prepared tin. Bake for 35 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from tin. To make cupcakes instead, line a 12-hole muffin tin, spoon in mixture and bake for 25–30 minutes.
Step 4 To make icing, melt chocolate in a small bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Cool slightly. In a separate bowl, mix icing sugar with yoghurt. Mix chocolate into yoghurt. Spread immediately over cold cake. Garnish with mint and grapes.
When baking, use a reduced-fat spread with no less than 60 per cent fat to ensure taste and texture.
