- 2 cups skim milk
- 1/2 cup sago
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Pour skim milk into a large microwave-proof dish. Add sago and leave to soak for 1 hour.
Step 2 Microwave sago dish on high for 4 minutes; stir. Microwave on high for 4 more minutes; stir. Microwave on medium for 5 minutes. (Mixture should be thick, and sago beads should be glassy. If not, microwave on medium for 1 minute at a time until sago is cooked.)
Step 3 Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla extract in a small bowl and stir quickly into hot sago mixture.
Step 4 Microwave sago on medium for 2 minutes and serve hot.
Sprinkle this pud with cinnamon or nutmeg for the grown-ups!
This pudding is delicious with a fresh fruit salad, stewed fruit or a tablespoon of jam.
