500g butternut pumpkin, peeled, chopped
1 tablespoon white miso paste (see HFG Tip)
1/4 cup skim milk

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Steam, microwave or roast pumpkin until tender
Step 2 Place cooked pumpkin in a blender (or food processor) with white miso paste and skim milk. Blend mixture until mash forms a smooth texture, adding more skim milk if necessary.
Step 3 Season mash with white pepper and serve.
You can find white miso paste in the Asian-food aisle of your local supermarket.
